I’m Tyan, the founder of Head to Tail Foods, and my journey into pet nutrition started right at home with my own furry family. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for an incredible group of pets, each with their own unique needs and challenges. My family includes Maisie, an 18-year-old Pitbull with the kindest heart; Kona, an 18-year-old Goldendoodle who still loves to play; Minnie, an 11-year-old Australian Shepherd full of energy; Sassy, a 12-year-old Shih Tzu with a big personality; and Hera, my 4-year-old black cat who keeps everyone in line.
When I first started adopting, many of my pets struggled with various health issues. Maisie had joint problems, Kona suffered from allergies, and Sassy had digestive troubles. I knew I had to do something to help them, so I started making my own homemade foods, supplements, and treats. I focused on using whole foods that are all-natural, organic, and full of the nutrition they needed for longevity and good health.
The transformation was remarkable. With the right diet and supplements, Maisie’s joints became stronger, Kona’s allergies cleared up, and Sassy’s digestive issues disappeared. All of my pets became healthier, more energetic, and happier. Their coats became shinier, their energy levels soared, and they were finally free from the ailments that had once held them back.
Seeing these incredible results inspired me to share what I had learned with other pet owners. That’s how Head to Tail Foods was born. I wanted to create products that would give other pets the same chance at a long, healthy life that my own pets have enjoyed. Today, I’m proud to say that every product we offer is made with the same care and dedication that I’ve always given to my own pets. We use only human-grade ingredients and we prioritize sustainability in everything we do.
